Obby Escape: Prison Rat Dance is an adventure game where you play as a clever rat trying to break out of a chaotic prison filled with traps and guards.

This game feels like you are tagging along with a little rat doing everything it can to escape a prison full of strange traps, guards, and surprising obstacles. The fun part is that you never really know what is waiting around the next corner, so you are always moving, looking around, and trying to stay one step ahead. You run through long hallways, climb pipes, crawl through vents, drop into tunnels, and jump across platforms that sometimes seem too far apart. As you keep playing, you get better at spotting safe spots, reading the hints on the walls, and figuring out which switches open which doors, and everything starts to come together naturally as you work your way out.

The checkpoints help the game feel fair because if you mess up, you can jump right back in without losing all your progress. Along the way, you can search for 177 hidden pieces of cheese, which is surprisingly fun since many are tucked into corners you would never think to check. You can also unlock new dancing rats by finding the ones hanging out on different platforms. In addition to the regular escape levels, there is a tall tower mode where you are always climbing upward, and a silly but intense Floor Is Lava mode where you have to race to the finish before the timer runs out.
