Obby and Dead River

Obby & Dead River is an adventure game where you sail a steamboat and search for supplies as you travel toward the final castle along the river.

Your journey in Obby & Dead River starts aboard a steamboat, with a dangerous river ahead and plenty of reasons to stop along the way. You need coal to keep the boat moving, so searching for fuel is just as important as fighting enemies. Gather supplies, load your loot onto the ship, and make sure you have enough fuel before leaving for the next castle.

Away from the settlements, you’ll come across abandoned houses, cottages, and tree huts that may hold something worth taking. Exploring helps you find useful items and treasure, but zombies and other enemies can turn a quick search into a fight. Watch your health as you move through these areas, and be careful about venturing farther when you’re already hurt, because dying means starting the journey again.

Castles and villages give you a chance to prepare for the next stretch of river. Trade the loot you’ve collected, improve your weapons, and buy first-aid kits before heading back into dangerous territory. You can also earn extra rewards by capturing criminals and delivering them to a sheriff, giving you another way to pay for the supplies you need.

As you travel farther, you’ll face pirates, monsters, and dragons on your way to the final castle, where the boss awaits. It’s tempting to keep sailing toward your goal, but stopping to gather supplies and upgrade your weapons can leave you better prepared for the fights ahead. The challenge is deciding when to explore a little longer and when to take what you’ve found back to the boat.

On a computer, use WASD to move, the mouse to look around, and the left mouse button to attack. Press Space to jump and hold Left Shift to run, taking care near edges so you don’t fall. Press B to open your inventory and Tab to toggle the cursor, or use the touch controls if you’re playing on a phone.
