In Ghost Hunt: Spirit Scanner, you search for ghosts hiding among people and everyday objects, using your scanner to find out where they are. Look around carefully and check anything suspicious, because an ordinary piece of furniture could be hiding your next target.

When you pick up signs of a ghost, keep the scanner pointed at that spot until the spirit appears. Some ghosts hide inside objects that you need to interact with after scanning, so finding a haunted item is only the first step. Once the ghost comes out, switch to your ghost-catching weapon and aim at it to suck it into your container.

Don’t put your equipment away after catching the first spirit, because there may be more than one in the room. You need to find all the required ghosts and haunted items before the timer runs out, which means checking the rest of the room even when it seems quiet. Keep moving your view around so you don’t miss an object or person you haven’t scanned yet.

Clearing levels earns you money that you can spend on better equipment for your next assignment. Upgrade your hand to help you interact with objects, improve your scanner to make searching easier, and strengthen your weapon to deal with the ghosts you uncover. These upgrades help you finish rooms faster as the assignments become more challenging.

On a computer, hold the left mouse button and move the pointer to look around and guide your scanner, then select your weapon and click on a revealed ghost to catch it. On a phone or tablet, swipe to move your view and tap to interact with objects, choose your equipment, and capture spirits.
